Secondary Improvement Project
Tunnel Renovation and Associated Appurtenances
Improvement No. 44C
Proposals for the Secondary Improvement Project, I-44C will be received by the City of Toledo at the Office of the Commissioner of Purchasing, 19th Floor, One Government Center, Suite 1970, Toledo, Ohio 43604, until 2:00 p.m. local time, on TUESDAY, April 6, 2010. The proposals will not be read aloud on the proposal opening date, but will be available for public inspection upon completion of the review process.
The RFP may be examined at the City of Toledo, One Government Center, Suite 1970, 19th floor, Toledo, Ohio and at the City of Toledo, Division of Water Reclamation, Bay View Wastewater Treatment Plant, 3900 N. Summit Street, Toledo, Ohio 43611. An electronic copy of the Proposal and a hard copy of the Professional Services Agreement may be obtained from Division of Water Reclamation Plant, 3900 N. Summit Toledo Ohio.
There will be a pre-proposal meeting and site visit held at the Division of Water Reclamation, Bay View Wastewater Treatment Plant, 3900 N. Summit Street, Toledo, Ohio 43611, March 30, 2010 at 1:30 P.M. Local time. Attendance at the pre-proposal meeting is strongly encouraged.
Obtaining these documents from any source other than directly from the source listed herein may result in failure to receive any addenda, corrections, or other revisions to these documents that may be issued.
The Consultant and all Sub-consultants will be required to conform to the labor standards and employment requirements set forth in the Proposal Documents
Any Proposal may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of Proposal, but no Proposer shall withdraw his Proposal within 120 days after the actual opening thereof.
Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Proposal, waive irregularities in any Proposal, and to accept any Proposal that is deemed most favorable to Owner.

The bid guaranty shall provide that if the bid is accepted, the bidder shall enter into a proper contract with the City in accordance with the bid, plans, details, specifications and bills of material.
