Sealed bids will be received at the Purchasing office, 19th Floor, One Government Center, Suite 1970, Toledo, Ohio, 43604, until 2:00 p.m. (local time): TUESDAY, MAY 22, 2012, for the Division of WATER RECLAMATION, Department of PUBLIC UTILITIES.
Any bidder submitting a bid in the amount of forty thousand dollars ($40,000.00) or more shall submit a bid guaranty in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, subject to a maximum amount of two hundred thousand ($200,000.00). The bid guaranty may be a bid bond or a certified check or cashier’s check on a solvent bank. The bid guaranty shall provide that if the bid is accepted, the bidder shall enter into a proper contract with the City in accordance with the bid, plans, details, specifications and bills of material.
A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at 1:00 p.m., at 3900 N. summit Street, Toledo, Ohio 43611. All bidders are required to attend the pre-bid meeting.

STORM WATER PUMP STATION RENOVATION
Sealed bids will be received at the Purchasing office, 19th Floor, One Government Center, Suite 1970, Toledo, Ohio, 43604, until 2:00 p.m. (local time): TUESDAY, JUNE 5, 2012, for the Division of WATER RECLAMATION, Department of PUBLIC UTILITIES.
There will be a Pre-Bid conference and Site visit held at the Division of Water Reclamation, Bay View Waste Water Treatment Plant, 3900 N. Summit Street, Toledo, Ohio 43611, TUESDAY, MAY 22, 2012 at 9:00 am. Attendance at the pre-Bid conference is strongly encouraged. All questions regarding this project should be directed to Douglas A. Dunn, P.E. at (419) 727-2619. In general, the Work consists of the furnishing of all labor, material, equipment, etc. for the construction of the project as spelled out in the specifications and drawings of the bid documents.

Neither Owner nor Engineer has any responsibility for the accuracy, completeness or sufficiency of any bid documents obtained from any source other than the source indicated in these documents. Obtaining these documents from any other source(s) may result in obtaining incomplete and inaccurate information. Obtaining these documents from any source other than directly from the source listed herein may also result in failure to receive any addenda, corrections, or other revisions to these documents that may be issued.
Contractor and all Subcontractors will be required to conform to the labor standards and employment requirements set forth in the Contract Documents.
Any Bid may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids, but no Bidder shall withdraw his Bid within 120 days after the actual opening thereof.
Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive irregularities in any Bid, and to accept any Bid that is deemed most favorable to Owner.
All bids must be made on the Bid Form which, with specifications, etc., may be obtained from Newfax Corporation, 333 West Woodruff Avenue, Toledo, Ohio 43604, Phone (419) 241-5157, Fax (419) 241-2018, Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. A non-refundable fee will be required for each set of specifications and contract documents provided by Newfax. Checks shall be made payable to “Newfax” for each set of bidding documents.
