City of Toledo refuse and recycling collection to change for the better
Effective May 5, 2008, the City of Toledo will begin the next step in continuing improvements to refuse and recycling collection services provided to residents. Changes will include adjustment of routes and pick-up days and launching a pilot program for automated collection.

Toledo's Erie Street Market to be Purchased by Tetra Tech
The City of Toledo has entered into a deal to sell 27 parcels of property – including the Erie Street Market and the Water Distribution Building to Tetra-Tech. These properties will all be incorporated into a new Riverwalk along Swan Creek. This new multi million dollar development will continue the momentum of development in the Warehouse District and the Central Business District.
