Free concerts in the Glyn M. Smith Amphitheatre off Kenwood Blvd, between the TORCH facility and Police Substation.
Saturdays, July 5 – August 23, 2007 - 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
This free, family-oriented concert series is made possible by the Ottawa-Jermain Park Board and The City of Toledo Department of Neighborhoods.
Families are invited to bring lawnchairs and/or blankets to sit upon the amphitheatre’s grassy tiers as they enjoy a musical evening in Toledo’s largest City Park.
The Ottawa Park Amphitheatre is a Greek-style stone amphitheatre that was completed by the Works Progress Administration (WPA) in 1937. It is constructed of locally quarried limestone. Restoration was completed in 2002.
The Amphitheatre is located in Ottawa Park off Kenwood Blvd, across from The Toledo Hospital and behind the Police Sub-Station.
