Lindsay M. Webb brings her longstanding commitment to the community and her desire to serve the public to Toledo City Council. As a Toledo City Councilwoman Webb has three areas of focus: Strong Neighborhoods, Economic Vitality, and Fiscal Responsibility.
She was elected as the District 6 Representative in November 2007, and began her term in January 2008. Lindsay was born and raised in Point Place, and is proud to be a third-generation resident there.
Webb believes that a mutual sense of community must guide the discussion about Toledo's future. Lindsay began her community service as a girl scout. She is currently a member of the Point Place Business Association (P.P.B.A.), and a member of UAW 2320, AFL-CIO, as well as the Toledo Ski Club and Cedar Creek Church.
Lindsay has shown her ability to critically think, make tough decisions, and act independently. She brings her dedication, work, community, and political experiences to the Council dais for the residents of District 6, and all Toledoans. She has served as chairperson of the Lucas County Democratic Party Central Committee and as a member of the Executive Committee, Young Democrats, Democratic Business and Professional Women and Democratic Women's Campaign Association.
Webb holds a law degree from The University of Toledo and has an Undergraduate Degree in Urban Studies. She is employed as a Dislocated Worker Advocate for a national non-profit.
